Five on Friday

Woah friends how are we already into August? Crazy how fast this year is flying by, but I am soooo excited for fall weather, boots, scarves, apple cider, pumpkin everything, football {hook 'em horns} and just simply FALL.
How about you? Are you ready for fall?

I am completely dying over this show. It came up the other day on "shows you might be interested in" so I thought I would give it a whirl and four episodes later I was completely hooked...well...after one I was hooked but how can you stop at one!? Funny, ridiculous, and trashy all at once.

In honor of National Cheesecake Day, the hubs and I took full advantage of the half price cheesecake and if I was real nice I wouldnt rub it in your face on how amazing it was, but no seriously, the new S'more cheesecake that just debuted was the closest thing to heaven there ever was. That should totally be a sin. Homemade marshmallow topping, creamy whip cream, homemade graham cracker crust and pure decadent chocolate. Are you drooling yet? I settled for the Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake which was fabulous but nothing near as outstanding as the S'more cheesecake.

So you know how there's all these baby contraptions?? Well, I always said when Paisley was old enough we would get her an exersaucer/jumper and since the time is finally upon us folks, we broke down and got her one of those thingy-ma-bobs. I really wanted the triple fun jungle exersaucer, but couldnt bring myself to spend the $100 that may only last a few months so I settled with something different, and honestly, Paisley isnt a big fan of the one we got her :/ She played in the one I wanted at Babies R Us and to say that she had a ball would be an understatement as you can tell from the pics....

Anyone own the triple fun evenflo exersaucer that loves it or hates it? Im all ears.

I ordered this shower curtain from Ebay, *ahem* I won this item on Ebay for Paisley's bathroom once we move into our new home. I have had my eye out for several months for the right lime green shower curtain and finally found it! {That was an ordeal in itself} After the fiasco with bidding, I now remember why I dont do Ebay anymore unless I can "Buy It Now" because frankly that about gave me a heart attack the last few seconds. My adrenaline was pumping like you would not believe. I am satisfied with my purchase and all is well now. Can you say cute and worth every bit of anxiety? I think so.

It has been a milestone week here in the Foltz household. Paisley has started waving, saying "Momma," sitting up all on her own and signing the word "milk." I feel like part of my baby girl is gone. She seems oh so big and its one thing after the other. Before I know it she will be crawling, then walking, turning one, the list just goes on and time really at this point is a "thief I would rob" like Lady Antebellum would say. Does it ever slow down?

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend!

  1. I love the ruffled shower curtain! There was a ruffled one at Anthropology I loved but I couldn't justify spending that much money. I never thought to look on Ebay!
