Five on Friday

Friday, Friday, Friday!!
This week has flown by, but I am so happy that the weekend is finally here, even if, we have a super jam packed weekend. I cant think of a better way to kick off our weekend than with a little five on Friday!

ONE

I am so excited to announce that Paisley's hair is finally long enough that I can put a little pony tail in! It looks so adorbs and I am swooning all over getting to fix my daughters hair. Girls are too fun I tell ya!

TWO

Michael's a great President's Day coupon/sale that we took advantage of thirty minutes before they closed. We have been on the hunt for a really long time to find cute little spice jars with chalk labels that weren't too pricey and Michael's delivered big time! We got each little jar for $1.80 and the bigger canister jars we scored for $6!! The spoons were $4 and soon as the hubs gets time I am looking forward to our fun little diy project for our kitchen!

THREE

Almond milk! Oh how I love thee! After seeing that you could make your own nut milk all over pinterest, I decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, it was so easy! The most time consuming thing was soaking the almonds. It came out pretty taste and sweetened just to our liking. Best part about it all, it doesn't contain any chemicals or any nasty junk! It lasts 4-5 days and Im pretty sure, that we will be making a lot of this from now on!

FOUR

Florida has seen some Spring/Summer weather and in preparing for the warmer months, I found these cute shoes when we were out shopping the other day! I am quite in love!

FIVE

If you have a second, literally just a few seconds, please go and vote for us to win a bathroom makeover! We bought our house in October and since then we have completely gutted and renovated our entire house except for the bathrooms. Paisley's bathroom is in dire need of getting finished and we are hoping to win this remodel package. It would be such a blessing to us! So please, please, please go here and vote for us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Have a fabulous weekend dear ones!!

Asking for a Favor

Hello blog land! I am asking if you all would go Here and vote for our bathroom so we can finish our remodel. We just bought our house and have gutted and renovated most all of it except the bathrooms. Paisley is really needing her own tub now that she's getting to be such a big girl. This would be a huge blessing to us!! I thank you all so very much!!

Mommy & Me

After taking a much needed break from blogland I am back for a few days sharing some fun new things we have been trying out!

This has been a whirlwind of a month and I cant believe we are in the last few days of February. Its crazy to me that we are about to March and the third month of the new year. Anyone else know where the time is going?

Just as February has been busy, March will be equally busy if not busier, and we cant forget spring break! I will be counting down the weeks till the hubs is out for a week and we get to get away for a few days!!

Although, its been busy, we made time for the State Fair last Sunday, and as you can guess, it was nothing short of fun, huge crowds, and lots of grease. Surprisingly, we didnt eat too bad at the fair and we didn't try anything beyond fried candy bars {boring I know}. We did get to see lots of animals, feed lots of animals, and even watch a baby chick hatch. Best part of the day!

I am getting excited for the Strawberry Festival this weekend! I am sure you will hear all about it next week, but till then, here are a few pictures from our time at the FL State Fair. Oh, and after watching all the kids feed the giraffe, Paisley was a pro when it was her turn. She didn't hesitate one bit. She held her hand straight up for the giraffe and had the hugest grin you could even imagine possible on a little tot ;)

Are these not the cutest seals? They "pose" with you and on occasion they will even smile!

Hope you all have a great week!

Paisley Grace:

You are a ball of fire. You have so much love and so much personality to offer someone. Whoever gets to spend their life with you, will be a very lucky person. You might only be 13 months but you have so much to offer. There is such a sweet presence about you. I didn't think it was possible to love anyone more than the love that I have for your daddy, but you really teach this momma how to live and what love is all about. My heart is so full. I am blessed. We are blessed by you.

You might have felt pretty yucky the last few weeks but I sure have enjoyed all the snuggles and the time I just get to let you know that you are loved. I cant wait for you to feel better because we have lots of fun things up a head. You are the biggest goof and I look forward to how much sillier you will get as you get older! Heres to another month baby girl!

Love you forever and Always!
