Five on Friday

Are we seriously only a few weeks from Christmas!? I have only managed to get part of my shopping done, but judging from what time we have left I need to HURRY!! I have never been this late getting Christmas shopping done, but with having a little one, its a little harder to get {alot} of things done. Anyone else feel this way? Most of my shopping, including Black Friday, has been done online. Thank heavens for online!

Tonight, we are taking Paisley to her first Christmas activity and I cannot wait to see her face and how excited she is going to be! She loves Christmas lights so I cant imagine the wonderment that will follow with snow, reindeer and lots of other goodies!

If you havent seen this post, let me introduce you to the newest member of our family...the Nikon D3100! Yay for early birthday presents! I am so in love with my new found joy! It also does video which the hubs is having so much fun with! Stay tuned for some exciting news for this upcoming New Year!! I am so excited for what is to come!!

I mentioned a while back that I was in deep need/want of these photoshop actions, so when the Cyber Monday sale was posted and it was 40% off your entire purchase, I new I had to have these for Christmas! I have way too much fun messing and teaching myself how to use these actions! Someday I would eventually like to add some Florabella actions to my collection, but for now I am swooning over these Greater than Gatsby ones! I purchased the Carving Tree and Radiance Collection. I could not be happier :)

I posted a sneak peek of our Christmas photo shoot and I am over the top of the moon in love! The hubs and I shot our photos with the new camera and while it was super fun, Paisley gave us a run for our money. A baby and no nap with photos that you are trying to get in a 15 minute time frame is not a good combination. She was done for, but you would never tell! The hubs created our Christmas cards in photoshop and he has done an excellent job! Cant wait to get them in the mail! Here is a few of my favorite photos from our shoot....

I am loving this stuff! I had my reservations trying to use a drugstore foundation because they have never worked for me, but with needing to stay within a budget lately, I decided that I would give this $9 stuff a try and Im pretty impressed. It goes on light and smooth, but the only downfall is that it doesnt cover blemishes well, but luckily using a powder over the top gives me the flawless look that I want. For $9 you seriously cant beat this. What are some of your favorite drugstore foundations?

I need to get a Christmas home tour up on the blog, but I will leave you with a picture of our Christmas tree and hope that it will suffice till I can get more hours in my day!! Its 9.5' tall and its pure bliss! It smells heavenly, looks beautiful and best of all Paisley just cant stop touching it! Good thing I bought shatterproof ornaments for her, or well, we might have had a disaster by now :)

Happy weekend friends!!
