Five on Friday!

I am completely stoked for this weekend, because while I love leading worship on Sundays, I am so happy that the Hubs and I finally have this week off!! Means help with the mini, sleeping in, lots of cuddles with our Paisley Grace and lots of fun!!
Now to kick off a great weekend...

{One}

Ultimately, I really would like to cry at the moment because my sweet little ball of sunshine is 10 MONTHS old today!! I am flabbergasted at where the time has gone. I wish I had a good explanation other than we are having way too much fun for why the time is flying, but there is none. Zilch. Time is just flying on by and before you know it, we will be at the ONE year mark and holy moly I might just be one hot emotional mess. Happy 10 months Paisley Grace!

I was just feeling sorry for myself the other day when we were still in the high 80s here in FL and what do ya know?? Bam over night, we hit the 60s and have stayed there for a few days! Hello long awaited "new" wardrobe! Pais even wore her slippers and kept them on the entire day! That never happens y'all!

{Three}

The Hubs and I decided to pop into Kmart last weekend (cant even remember the last time I stepped foot in one) since it was next to Lowes and there was a big sign for $.71 candy corn, which the hubs was all over, and I found these cute boots! Surprisingly they are pretty comfy! I have gotten quite a few compliments. While they were $15 bucks I will gladly add these to my out of control shoe collection :)

I am so late to this party, thank you Redbox, but we just watched The Heat the other night and other than the terrible, terrible language (is the "F" word really necessary that many times?) it was freaking funny!!

I am really wishing that Christmas would hurry up and get here! I havent officially bought Paisley's presents, or any presents as a matter of fact, but I have my list, and while Black Friday is pretty stinky this year, I will be shopping sometime in the very very near future! The grandparents have pretty much taken care of Paisley and I am SOO excited for her Christmas! Pais is going to have lots of fun, but I have to share this story real quick and the present that is on its way for Paisley. Years ago, ok, when I was in 5th grade, my mom bought me this little doll that was pretty similar to a real baby. I named her Kila. I loved to play house with my sisters when I was younger, and eventually when I grew up, my mom put the doll in a box to save for my daughter when she was old enough to have a doll. Well, 5 years ago, my parents house burned down on NYE and they lost everything. Since then, I have been looking and looking for that doll, only because it came in an little plastic egg container (I know I am crazy because there are 100s of new dolls) which I thought was cool, but have not been able to find UNTIL somehow these dolls popped up on my newsfeed on FB. I was freaking out and went immediately and was looking at them and got so excited especially since I had just had a convo with my mom about what baby doll to get Pais for Christmas. I sent her the doll I liked best and right that second she ordered the doll and its on its way! I am so excited I cant even put words to this blog about my excitement. I really cant wait to tell Paisley the story behind this doll one day :)

Sorry for the novel folks!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!

  2. That temp sounds nice. My part of florida only got one day of those temps, back up to 80s again. So much nicer hanging out on the back porch with Aria when it is a few degrees cooler.
    And, I can't even believe how fast a year goes by. My word.
